UNIVERSITY BOX OFFICE – CONSTANS THEATRE

The O’Connell Center staff will also be working at the University Box Office at the Constans Theatre on show nights for the UF School of Theatre & Dance. The box office will open 45 minutes prior to each show.

REITZ UNION
On February 1, 2016, the J. Wayne Reitz Union opened its doors to the newly renovated and expanded Reitz Union. The Constans Theatre, McGuire Pavilion Black Box and Box Office are once again available via the Reitz Union colonnade.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
No refunds will be offered on ticket purchases except in the case of a show cancellation. For canceled or rescheduled shows, a refund will be offered through the original point of purchase.

Refunds may not be immediately available. Please contact your original point of purchase for additional information or contact the venue directly for refund information. Exchanges may be offered through the original point of purchase up to 7 days prior to the event date, at management’s discretion. Exchanges will not be available on the event date. Individual event promoters may modify the policies for their specific events.

STANDBY TICKET POLICY (School of Theatre and Dance):
Standby tickets will be available when possible for performances on the day of the show, in person, starting at 45 minutes prior to the performance. Standby tickets do NOT guarantee entry to the theatre. Standby tickets will be assigned a number on a first come, first served basis. Standby patrons will be seated in a numerical basis according to the number on their standby ticket. Once a standby ticket has been purchased, patrons should wait by the House Manager at the lobby entrance to the theatre. If patrons with standby tickets do not receive a seat, they may return to the ticket office with their UNTORN ticket for a full refund up to 15 minutes after the start of the show. Once this fifteen minute period has elapsed and a standby ticket patron has been seated, standby ticket holders will not be asked to leave the theatre. The original purchaser has, at that point, forfeited their seat and will not receive a refund. Standby tickets are not transferable to any other performance date or time. The total number of standby tickets sold for each sold out show will be a fixed amount and once the maximum has been reached, no more tickets will be sold for the show.

BUYER BEWARE
With the rise in the number of “secondary ticket agencies / scalpers”, we have experienced an increase in the number of invalid tickets being presented at our entrance gates. The ONLY authorized ticket sales agents for the Stephen C. O’Connell Center are:

The Stephen C. O’Connell Center is not able to honor, replace or refund invalid tickets. Invalid tickets may be confiscated by the University Box Office. A copy of the tickets, which may be used to alert the point of purchase, will be provided at the customer’s request. Customers with invalid tickets are welcome to purchase valid tickets at the University Box Office – seating location and price based upon availability.
